About Us

Who We Are

The Nurses Ministry is a movement of Catholic professional nurses committed to the caring and healing ministry of Jesus Christ under the patronage of the bishops.

In the midst of sickness and pain, every individual longs for support, love, and compassionate care. A nurse filled with the Holy Spirit can gently lead the suffering to the living God.

Nursing begins from the womb and continues until the tomb. A nurse who recognizes the sacred call within the profession can lead the sick to the Divine Healer — Jesus Christ.

Melbourne West Chapter

Established in 2017.

Around 110 nurses in total • 11 members in the Service Team • 2 State Team Representatives

The ministry provides guidance and support for nurses to live a life of holiness through:
Personal prayer • Sacramental life • Word of God • Fellowship

Daily intercessory prayer for nurses worldwide • Praise and worship • Monthly Chain Rosary on the 13th of every month.

MAY FEST – 13th May, Dedicated to Our Lady of Fatima

Celebration of “May Fest” on 13th May, dedicated to our heavenly patron, Our Lady of Fatima
During May Fest, nurses gather to celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Fatima after completing 33 days of Fatima Consecration preparation. They consecrate themselves to the Immaculate Heart of Mother Mary.
Both International Nurses Day and May Fest are celebrated together.
