Prithuvedi - Fathers' Fellowship

Strengthening Familes Through Faith, Love and Service

Pithruvedi is the fathers’ fellowship of our parish, committed to strengthening families and promoting responsible fatherhood in the spirit of Christian values. The group encourages unity, spiritual growth, fellowship, and active participation in the life and mission of the Church.

Through prayer, faith-sharing, community activities, and mutual support, Pithruvedi seeks to help fathers grow in their faith and fulfil their responsibilities as loving husbands, caring fathers, and role models of Christian living. It recognises the important role fathers play in nurturing their children’s faith, guiding the next generation, and building strong, loving, and faith-filled families.

By fostering brotherhood and a shared sense of responsibility, Pithruvedi encourages fathers to support one another, serve the parish community, and strengthen the spiritual wellbeing of their families. Inspired by the example of St Joseph, the patron of fathers and families, the ministry strives to promote a life of faith, humility, commitment, and selfless service.
